EXPAND & ENJOY

I'm Hélène, a 500-hour registered yoga instructor with over 12 years of practice and training in yoga and meditation.

Originally from France, I started practicing yoga when moving to New York in 2009. In 2021, I left a career in finance and sustainable development to immerse herself in the teaching and sharing of yoga fully.

The yoga that I teach combines the principles and styles of Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Katonah Yoga laced with my practice of Vedic meditation and study of Vedic philosophy.

I have worked with students of all ages and paths, focusing on the details and principles of universal alignment and allowing the more subtle aspects of the practice to reveal themselves.

I teaches weekly at Kaia Yoga in Mamaroneck, NY and runs a yoga studio in Rye, NY where I focus on teaching small group classes and private clients.

- Surime Fukuda, Mamaroneck, NY (group student)

I love Hélène’s positive and friendly energy that is perfect to start the day with. I always feel energized after her classes. The hands-on assists and advice for specific postures have been deeply appreciated and helpful to progress my practice. Hélène is also very well-read and knowledgeable about yoga sutras and other reliable texts and I find something special I can learn from her daily spiritual quotes at every class. Last but not least the relaxation of Shavasana with Hélène 's Harmonium has been such a treat and luxury to my soul.

- Deniz Oguz, Dobbs Ferry, NY (private student)

I’m new to yoga. I started yoga a few months back looking for more flexibility in the body and more balance in life. Working as a physician in a hospital my schedule is unpredictable and I’m very busy; in private sessions, we work on my own schedule and at my own pace, so I don’t have to worry about catching a class. With Hélène, I feel super confident and taken care of. She gives me her fullest attention and is amazing at understanding my weakness and tailoring each session to work on those. We always start and finish our session with breathing practice which is so relaxing.

- Lucie , Bordeaux, France

With Hélène, I discovered the practice of yoga and meditation which brought me calm and well-being. In 8 weeks, the classes have evolved becoming more and more invigorating. It is a real pleasure to feel progress thanks to regular practice. Always with a smile and lots of advice, Hélène guided us step by step through her universe.
